Auto-advance, a count-in, a song time limit and “let others go first”
Less work for the host: the night can now run itself between songs.
Auto-advance
Turn on Auto-advance in the gear menu and the next song starts by itself after a short break, with a cheer for the singer who just finished. Turn it off and you press Play for every song, as before.
A count-in before each song
When a song is about to start on its own, the stage counts the next singer in, the first song of the night included, so nobody gets caught without the mic.
Song time limit
Set a Song time limit in the gear menu and songs stop after that many minutes, so the next singer is up. Leave it off and every song plays to the end.
Not ready? Let others go first
A singer who needs a minute can tap Let others go first on their phone, choose how many songs go ahead of theirs, and see when they'd be up instead. Or they can move their song to the end.
